Walking with Gobi Bears 2018

July 7th, 2018

Today we successfully hiked from Kamerunga (in Cairns) to Wright’s Lookout at Kuranda – and back again! – a round trip of 15km through the Barron Gorge National Park, to raise funds and awareness about our favourite rarest bears in the world … the mazaalai (Gobi bears). A BIG thank you all the hikers and ghost hikers who helped us to keep the supplemental Gobi bear feeding program on track for it’s next installment in August. Here are some photos.
